So I’ve decided to up and leave Google Blogger in favor of a self hosted WordPress site. Why? Well mainly just because I couldn’t find a theme that jived with me. I’m the first to admit I’m a developer not a designer. An engineer not an artist Jim! All and all though it’s been a fun little experiment. I’m hosting it on a little Centos VM upstairs.
Yes I run VMWare at home, what don’t you? I suppose that could actually make a good blog post going through my little home infrastructure, I’ll admit it’s more complex than need be. But it provides a nice test bed when needed and keeps me busier than it should at times.
